In my opinion Lindy is innocent as police could not find any evidence to prove that she murdered her daughter (Azaria). She did a big mistake by leaving her baby on the risk of death due to her negligence, but still she did not kill her.  I feel sorry for her because she spent a really hard time when she lost her baby and her freedom.
Can she be rehabilitate?
I think that she can rehabilitate because she is innocent.
What went wrong?
The worse thing with this case is to put lindy in the jail for a long time and she suffered a lot for no reason as she was innocent. I think that the police failed in performing their duty in protecting people.

EFS Assessment Task 5 - Pedestrian Rights

Rights:
Pedestrians are a broad group of people range from joggers, seniors, children and people who use mobility aids. Therefore those people have the right of safe crossing, share the road with car drivers and the right of way (this means that a driver has to give way to pedestrians at crossings, and intersections). Pedestrians have the right of passing through crossing lines therefore drivers should not precede until the crossing is completely clear. Furthermore a pedestrian refuge allows the pedestrians to cross the road in 2 stages using an island in the middle of the road, drivers should be careful when approaching these points. Children’s crossings operate before and after school which are managed by a school crossing supervisors holding a sign saying “STOP Children crossing.” Drivers must slow down and stop while they cross. Moreover  pedestrians have the right of crossing throw shared zone (it is an area where pedestrians, bicycle riders and other vehicles all share the road usually in shopping areas, parks or tourist attractions). Drivers must always slow down for pedestrians in those points if necessary to avoid a collision.

Responsibilities:
Pedestrian are responsible to protect themselves by waiting for the crossing green light. Drivers have a right of way when it comes to pedestrian refugee islands; therefore it is very important to pay attention to the traffic. As a pedestrian, you should always find out more information about traffic rules and signals so you know what you should do in different situations, approach the crossing slowly, look both left and right for any approaching cars Before crossing the road, and think about whether the driver can see you. There are penalties which apply if a pedestrian causes a traffic accident. In addition, any pedestrian cross the road without using a crossing could be fined.

Police arreste three on roof

Summery:
Three members of the protest group collective perched above the roof of the Immigration minister's (Chris Bowne) office. They were supporting the protesters in villa wood detention centre asking a release for the asylum migrants in Australian detention centers. Therefore they were arrested by Fairfield police and they charged with trespassing and entering closed land.

Personal reflection:
I understand the great kind of those protesters as they are looking kindly on those immigrants' problems and they hope to release them in to the community, but they chose a wrong way to do so because they put themselves and the others in the risk. In addition many shops and businesses lost their customers for the whole day as the police tape around the area. I think in a democracy and developed country like Australia there are many modern ways let your voice to be heard.

Clown doctors lighten the mood for kids in hospitals

Summry:

Clown doctors described a dose of laughter to overcome children's' health problems. There are more than 50 clown doctors who reach the live of over than 135000 persons in 20 hospitals each year. The common wealth bank raised money from the public and have supported clown doctors since 1999. Donations are help clown doctors to cover most of the hospitals around Australia. As international research has shown a good dose of humour helps relieve stress and recovery.

Personal Reflection:

In my opinion, those doctors who are offering a great help to relieve the major problems that all patients have such as the stress, loneliness, anxious, and fear are doing an excellent job. Those people who help a lot and they deserve a big donation from the community. I would suggest the government to fundraise some money for them, provide them with essential equipments in order to increase their activity and research related to the fun activities as a recovery aid.
